On Fri night, I attended the free Lasik forum at The Lasik Surgery Clinic (Thanks to Dorothy for accompanying me) and took up their offer of free eye evaluation that determines whether I'm a suitable Lasik candidate. I was worried that I would fail the test due to my dry eyes and fluctuating eyesight, but it seems that my eyes were quite ok and I don't even need to take up the more expensive Wavefront technology.
During today's checkup, I was really nervous as I couldn't stop blinking when the lights were shone into my eyes through the machines. I hope I won't be so nervous during the surgery. There were many people at the clinic; I guess Lasik is getting really popular nowadays. One of the female staff told me about their promotion of having $150 off if I operate today. I felt that it was too rush, as I haven't made any preparation (there was a checklist like one could not put any hair gel, makeup, talcum powder before the surgery and I had all these on. Furthermore, I wasn't mentally prepared yet) and I'm afraid that my eye condition is still unstable. I have decided to have my Intralase Lasik on 21 Oct...pls wish me luck...
I just bought a thousand-year Tian Zhu from Worldlink Dzi Gallery located at Lucky Plaza. The sales lady took a picture of me wearing the Tian Zhu...I hope it won't appear in their ad. I hope the bead would protect me from any eye complications...
